GMAT exam is taken by applicants, who are looking for a career advancement and growth professionally. It is a standard test that assesses the applicant’s academic ability. It is a computerized exam, which can be taken five times per year.


GMAT Syllabus

The exam includes four sections namely: 

• Analytical Writing Assessment AWA Essay, 

• Integrated Reasoning Section IRS, 

• Quantitative Section and 

• Verbal Section.

AWA consists of one writing task based on the analysis of an argument, which measures your critical thinking, how well you communicate your ideas and formulate a constructive essay.

IRS measures your ability to understand the graphic, numeric or verbal information. This section includes multiple –source reasoning, table analysis, graphic interpretation, two-part analysis.

Verbal Section assesses your comprehension of the written material. This section has multiple choice questions that cover reading comprehension, critical reasoning and sentence correction.

Quantitative Section measures how you solve quantitative problems, interpret graphs and quantitative reasoning ability. This section includes multiple-choice questions related to problem solving and data sufficiency.


GMAT Eligibility

Anyone who is planning for education abroad can give GMAT exam, irrespective of age and qualification. However, international universities have their own criteria for accepting GMAT scores.
